Shami Kabab


Ingredients:

  1. mince meat (Qeema) handmade 250 grams
  2. Bengal gram (Split) OR Chana Dal dip in water (4 tblespoons)
  3. Cumin seeds half teaspoon
  4. 1 teaspoon of fennel
  5. 1 teaspoon of coriander leaves
  6. 2 Green Cardamom (Sabz Elaichi - الایچی)
  7. 6 Red Chili Whole (Sabut Lal Mirch)
  8. 1 teaspoon of salt
  9. 1 teaspoon of ginger finely chopped
  10. 4 cloves of garlic
  11. 1 boiled potato
  12. 1 An egg
  13. 2 tablespoons of green coriander (dry)
  14. 2 tablespoons of mint
  15. 2 green chillies
  16. 1 teaspoon of hot spices (garam masala) (grand)
  17. Oil for frying

Directions:

In a pan, put the minced meat, Bengal gram (Split) OR Chana Dal, cumin, fennel, dried coriander, Green cardamom, dried red chillies, salt, ginger and garlic cloves with two glasses of water on low heat to boil.

When the water dries up and all the ingredients are dissolved, cool them.

Now add potatoes to it and grind it in a chopper.

Now add egg, green coriander, mint, green chilly and hot spices and mix well.

Shape into kebabs and fry in hot oil.
