 How To Make Kashmiri Tea (Chai) Powder At Home


Kashmiri Chai (Tea)


Ingredients:

  1. Cinnamon (Dar cheni, دار چینی) 2 pieces 
  2. Cloves (Long, لونگ) 8 pcs
  3. Green Cardamom (Sabaz ilaichi, سبز الائچی) 15 pcs
  4. Whole Anise Seeds flowers (Badian, بادیان کے پھول) 5 pcs
  5. Kashmiri tea leaves(کشمیری چائے کی پتی)  Half a cup
  6. Sugar (sugar, چینی). 1 cup
  7. Dry milk (خشک دودھ) 1 cup 
  8. Salt (نمک) 1 teaspoon 
  9. Rose color (گلابی رنگ) 1 tsp
  10. Almonds (Badam, بادام)    4  pcs-5
  11. Pistachios (Pista, پشتہ ) 4-5  pcs
  12. Dairy Cream  1 tsp (Optional)

Directions:

Dry roast Whole Anise Seeds flowers (Badian), cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, Kashmiri tea leaves in a dry pan.    
Then let cool thoroughly. 
And made a powder.  
Sieve the powder and add dry milk, sugar, salt, color to it and mix well. 

Note:

Easy way to mix. Sieve all the ingredients 2 to 3 times. 

How to make tea:

Add 1 tablespoon of powder to 1 cup of warm milk and dairy cream, mix well and serve garnished with pistachios and almonds than served in a traditional and beautiful cup.
 
Enjoy the warm, nutty taste with every sip!
